Ladies’ squash and racketball
We have a thriving community of ladies playing squash and racketball. Junior female membership is very strong and supported by active adult women players. We run a Ladies team in the Bucks Squash League, and hold a separate Ladies’ club championship competition – the A-Grade 2014 finalists can be seen on the right (See the news article.). We have lady members of all standards from beginners to county players. However, there is a strong emphasis on the social side, and a large Ladies’ squash squad holds “round robin” evenings (with food to follow) on a regular basis. Why not come and join us?
For all ages and abilities
Squash and racketball are excellent health and fitness sports, enjoyed by juniors, grandmothers, and all ages between. Racketball, less intense than squash, gives very good aerobic exercise. Whether your emphasis is on fun, fitness or competition, squash or racketball combines all of these to whatever extent you like.
As well as the mixed squash and racketball leagues, summer team competitions, generalcoaching sessions, club nights, county league teams and club championships there are a number of activities specifically for ladies.
These include round robins, coaching sessions and a ladies ladder. We also have a team playing in the second division of the Bucks Ladies League and are looking to add further teams as our membership grows and our junior girls progress.
So, ladies – if you fancy joining in this great way of getting exercise while you have fun, get in touch with us. It’s great fun, and a great way to stay in shape.
