What is UK racketball?

racketballAlthough less established and not as well known as squash racketball is one of UK’s growing sports. It is played on any regular squash court and is similar to squash. In racketball a larger ball, which does not need warming up like in squash, and a shorter racket are used. To find out more read out brief guide to racketball.

Our Club

The club has a healthy racketball contingent, with a core of dedicated racketball players, and others who also play squash. A regular league runs all year round, and we also have an off-season competition. We field a representative team in the Bucks Racketball League. The club hast hosted rounds of a major national racketball competition, and one of our younger players won the B-Grade event in 2012.

Internal Leagues

Leagues run monthly and provide friendly but competitive games for members of all playing standards. To enter the leagues, simply contact the Club Manager, who will add you to a division at a suitable level. New members will be offered one or two introductory games to gauge their standard and where in the leagues to play. Racketball League members’ details are securely held on the Squash and Racketball Leagues website.

Racketball Club Night

Friday night is Racketball Club Night, starting at 6:45pm. It offers the ideal opportunity for new members to turn up and play and meet existing members. The events have a social bias and both singles and doubles friendly games are played.

Club Racketball Tournaments

Our in-club events are :

  • Club singles championship (April )
  • Summer handicap tournament (June)
  • Doubles club event (Winter)
  • Winter teams – 20 mins non stop game (January-March)

Representative Teams

The club fields a representative team in the Bucks Racketball League, and a Veterans team plays on a more informal basis.


We offer a range of starter courses and special offers for new members which provides introductory coaching by England Squash and Racketball qualified coaches. We have rackets for hire and can offer new racket sales at competitive prices.
